Animal Encounters

Secret Safari has furnished a free flight bird exhibit using lorys and lorikeets to a prominent zoo for over 15 years. Our lorikeets have been trained to fly down and land on people's arms and drink nectar from a cup in the guests' hand. Lorikeets are a very playful and entertaining small- to medium-sized bird. Our lorikeets are extremely friendly and social. This exhibit is excellent for people of all ages as it allows them to interact with exotic birds.

For those individuals who do not wish to have a bird land on them but would still like to be up-close to these amazing birds are also welcome inside our exhibit, as the birds rarely land on anyone who does not have a cup of nectar to offer them.
